Hyperbolic rant about Identity Politics (NOT A MEME)

it’s sort of a meme I guess. I mean at this point it feels like the entire situation is a parody of itself so why not be a meme… And take this with a pinch of salt, I know …

Hyperbolic rant about Identity Politics (NOT A MEME)

  1. Racial privilege is a concept that isn't to say white people get instant benefits by being white, its that they reap benefits from being in a society that has black people living in mostly poverty states due to their history, that because white people have had a past of being the majority and the one in control, that is a large determination for their economic stance of power today. It isn't "white privilege is getting free stuff for just being white", it's "white privilege is living in a white nation that has had a past of white people being the ones in control and the ones with the most wealth and can still be said about that today."

  2. So many political terms. I’m only 18. I don’t know what this crap means. Are there any adults here who know how to explain things on a kid’s level? If so, could someone translate for me?

  3. This showed up on my recommended for some reason (probably all those meme videos I watch -_-) but I feel like if you keep making videos like this one, you'll get big fast. Editing is good, love the voice over and love how it's serious but still a meme just to show how ridiculous it is today in society. Keep up the good work <3 new sub

  4. There really is an atmosphere of self-victimisation to avoid blame or responsibility in society, and as much as minorites are becoming vocal minorities, the majority is become a silent one. The idea of privilage just seems to be the big scapegoat at the moment.
