I Can’t Stop Picking My Skin

Comments 28

  1. I feel like I have this to some degree. I have always been a big pimple picker/popper. I can stand in front of the mirror for 20 mins picking my face. Also if I'm in bed trying to go to sleep and I feel a new pimple. I will have to get up from bed and go into the bathroom to look at it. I will get super antsy if I try to leave it be. Popping pimples is also euphoric for me. I feel like I have this disease. I also suffer from anxiety so I very well could.

  2. such a pretty girl destroying herself by her own, while others trying to do any surgery to make them look good..i hope you changed your mind set coz i do believe that it's you ,yes you alone can help yourself.

  3. I feel like I’m getting better because I’ve stopped picking at my face, but unfortunately it’s just sort of moved to my arms and legs so…there’s that. Right before I shower and right after a shower is when it’s worst so I try to limit that time but it’s hard. The shame is the hardest part and weirdly a motivator to do it. Like I feel ashamed after picking and then that shame makes me want to pick more which is so frustrating

  4. she's so brave to go out there and record a documentary thats going to be seen from people all around the world. if i had a condition or disease the last thing I would do is show myself to the world but she's so so brave to do so <3

  5. I also have dermatillomania. And it ruins my life. I just want to have good skin. In the 5 years I've had this I've only had a week where I could stop myself from doing it. But then it just came back. I'm really trying. I hope someday I can "just stop picking" like all the doctors say.
