New HIV Patient Meets Survivor From The ’80s

Comments 35

  1. I can only imagine how difficult these times can be. I am a PreMed student hoping to educated young teens about HIV and many more things

If anyone is interested i have a few Youtube videos over on my channel that i hope can help those who might be going through depression or anxiety. Specially related to school

  2. I’m crying at this and I wish you both all the happiness in the world! Thank you for speaking out and every day is a day closer to finding a cure❀️

  3. Hoping and praying for the best for the two of you, I salute your strength and resilience and I hope more people will support research about HIV and more people will help HIV patients remind them that they are far greater and more than as an HIV patient

  4. This is something that is so important to talk about. Shaming those who are HIV positive decreases their chances of seeking treatment or getting tested and that hurts them and people around them too. Illness isn’t shameful and we should help people to live and live happily so that they can be everything that they can be.

  5. I just want to say something…

If you don't want it, dont do it.

Obviously I feel sorry if it was not your choice. (Meaning you got sexually abused, raped, assaulted, forced, etc.)

  6. HIV wasn't even just a "gay" disease. Some the medical staff that helped were also exposed. As the years went by, some of them spoke up against the "gay" label. It's really damaging to have that ignorant view of the virus
