Top Ten Roller Coasters in Florida

Comments 21

  1. Hi guys! Wow, y'all sure do have some strong opinions about your favorite roller coasters in Florida, and that's cool. Keep the comments coming! 🙂
I created this list based on roller coasters I thought were unique or culturally noteworthy; the kinds of rides that bring people to Florida theme parks.

Yeah I agree…Space Mountain isn't the most thrilling ride in Florida, but it is considered a classic that spans generations. Mako? Awesome ride. Yeah.
But Six Flags and Cedar Point have been doing rides like that for years.

If you wanna hear more explanation, come check out our podcast; Sunshine State of Mind. Episode 1 is all about our favorite roller coasters.

  2. I am from England. We went on Cobra’s Curse and my moms phone dropped out of the cart. The cart then ran over it and it was later found two weeks later in 20 little pieces on the ground. At the time, it was the brand new phone. It was an iPhone 7+, and she had it for about 1 month.

  3. My list:
    1: Top thrill dragster
    2: Expedition Everest
    3: Kingda ka
    4: Hulk
    5: Kraken
    6: space mountain
    7: Rip rockit ride
    8: Mako
    9: Timberhawk
10: The wild thing ( Wild waves)

  4. Manta ought to be on the list. Journey to Atlantis should be the honorable mention, as it's (or was when this video was made) a great dark ride and water ride that becomes a roller coaster at the end and has more coaster elements than Gringotts. Otherwise, this is a decent ranking if you're going by overall experience. If you're going strictly by the roller coaster elements, Manta should top the list, followed by Mako, Montu, Hulk, Kumba, SheiKra, Rock 'N Rollercoaster, Rip Ride Rockit, Cheetah Hunt, and Kraken. And, two years from now, Gwazi will return and could be the most thrilling roller coaster in Florida.
