  1. It could be both good and bad, the good is self explanatory new people working out together etc, but the bad part is if you don't the technique down you could risk injuring yourself in the long run. And the whole wod sessions are sometimes to complete the workout as fast and efficient as possible. But then again that's what the instructors are for as well as the other members after all you're all their for the same goal.

  2. Yep, apparently I can get by without ever doing this. You want to know an oxymoron? A muscular crossfitter. They're lean, but none of them have any muscle mass even approximating any other training style (aside from maybe cardio).
